最后，美洲和大洋洲是地热发电的另一重要发展区域，美洲国家装机容量达到21905 MW，占全球的12.1%；大洋洲总装机容量达到4888 MW，占全球的2.7%，其中澳大利亚地热发电装机容量为2119 MW，新西兰地热发电装机容量为1090 MW。
