2、ts that some 1,200 million tonnes of plastics will be consumed in 2060,up 159%from 2022 levels.*Growing awareness of the plastic pollution problem has led policymakers to seek out policy instruments that could counter the current trends.The proposed UN International Legally Binding Instrument is an
3、example of such efforts.Among other measures,certain governments propose restrictions on production of primary plastic polymers.This study has the following key objectives:Create a framework to understand and measure the socio-economic impacts of alternative policy instruments to end plastic polluti
