CorporateR&Dspending
19、bycompaniesintheoilandgasandotherfossilfuelextractionsectorsshowed1% growthinrealtermsin2018,thefirstincreaseinR&Dspendinginthissectorsince2014.Spendingremains 45%below2014levels,however,andisnotrisingsignificantlyasashareofrevenue. WhilethereboundofoilandgascompanyR&Dbudgetsissluggish,thatofelectri
20、citygenerationandsupply companiescontinuestorise.SiemensandGeneralElectricoccupiedthetopspotsinthelistofthehighest globalenergyR&Dspenders,withPetrochinadroppingoutofthetopthreeforthefirsttimeinadecade.
