2、as Innovation Summit(AGIS)with the theme:Igniting the Future:Driving Sustainability in Africas Energy Landscape through Gas Technology and Innovation.From the outset,I want to congratulate the SPE for conceiving the Africa Gas Innovation Summit.Without a doubt Nigeria is the Energy hub of Africa and

3、 I further wish to commend the organizers for the relevance and importance of the topic which essentially speaks to our current position and goals as the frontline gas producing country and the energy hub of this great continent.2.Looking at our energy landscape,we can see that Sub Saharan Africa is

4、 still energy-deficient and we contribute the lowest carbon emission globally.Nigeria however is blessed with abundant natural gas resources of about 209 TCF which can hoist us out of these challenges by providing access to electricity,clean cooking fuel,auto gas and feedstock for other industries t

5、hereby generating wealth and improving our wellbeing.3.From an NNPC standpoint,this Summits theme and topics clearly resonate as NNPC is at the forefront of orchestrating a sustainable energy future for itself and Africa leveraging on gas,technology and innovation.4.To underscore the critical role o

6、f gas in economic development and to maintain energy security,NNPC has embarked on several gas infrastructure projects some of which have already been commissioned such as the Second phase of the AHL Gas Processing Plant,the ANOH Gas Processing Plant and the ANOH to OB3 CTMS Gas Pipeline Project.NNP
