2、live.Placing ourselves behind Singapore,CanadaandJapan.On the surface all would appear fabulous.It would be easy to assume that we are confident in our quality of life and in achieving the hopes,aspirations and desires we have for our futures.However,below the surface there is tension brewing.Austra

3、lians are seeking change.And not just any change,we are seeking dramatic change across industry and sector.We are seeking radical overhauls to ensure our future success as a country and as individuals.But are we prepared for what this will take?Radical change requires new ways of thinking.Pushing th

4、e boundaries of what is possible.Exploring ideas before their time and moving us dramatically forward both as a nation and as individuals.By our own admission,Australia has lost its ability to do this.Almost three in four(74%)Australian citizens dont believe we know how to debate key topics in this

5、country with respect for the other point of view.In fact,one in three(35%)strongly agree with this view.HOPES|FEARS|ASPIRATIONS|DESIRES1We dont feel capable of having these debates in a public forum.We fear the blowback that will occur if we attempt to have a robust discussion.Over half(53%)of Austr

6、alian citizens are too afraid to speak their mind publicly.On social platforms,we fear retribution,including one in five(21%)who strongly agree.What is most concerning is that it is our youngest Australians who are more likely to strongly agree with this statement.30%of Gen Z versus 17%of Baby Boome
