5、r economies of the world slowed through-out much of the year.Following an unexpected,steep decline in rig activity during the third quarter in North America,our oilfield companies there were hardest hit.Oilfield Services continued to benefit from the steady increase in activity outside North America

6、 as the industry worked to maintain its broad base of supply.Oilfield revenue increased 19%despite an 8%decline in rigs worldwide due to firmer pricing outside North America and the introduction of new premium value services worldwide.Deployment of MAXIS 500,our new wire line logging system,was acce
