5、mer base;we made substantial progress in integrating the Florida Hillandale acquisition;and we operated efficiently despite considerably higher fuel and energy costs.For the year,Cal-Maine reported net sales of$477.6 million compared with$375.3 million for fiscal 2005.The Company reported a net loss
6、 of$1.0 million,or$0.04 per share,for fiscal 2006,compared with a net loss of$10.4 million,or$0.43 per share,in fiscal 2005.The economics of the egg business were difficult in fiscal 2006.The egg industry was faced with an abundant supply of eggs,and,as a result,egg prices were under pressure most o
