2、ses of our poor financial performanceloss of microprocessor marketshare in the distribution channel and the delay in volume shipments of our Quad-Core AMD Opteronprocessorhave been successfully addressed.And as you will see throughout 2008,we set the stage in 2007 fornew product cycles across all ou
3、r business units that could collectively create a multi-billion dollar marketopportunity for AMD.Most significantly in 2007,we completed the integration of ATI Technologies,positioning AMD to pursue manynew and fast-growing markets.We launched important new products and platforms across all our busi
4、nesses,producing top-line momentum.And we secured yet another global PC OEM,Toshiba,who we expect will be animportant partner as we work to continue growing our notebook processor business.Our Consumer ElectronicsGroup is pushing into new markets with partners like Samsung,who will use our AMD Xille
5、on family ofpanel processors to bring advanced video processing to the rapidly growing HDTV flat screen market.Aspromised,we shipped hundreds of thousands of the industrys first and only native quad-core x86 processors intothe market.And finally,we ended 2007 shipping a record number of microprocess
6、or units,increasing 9 percentyear-over-year compared to 2006.*2007 represented a critical juncture in AMDs evolution,and both the lessons and successes of the past year willserve AMD well into the future.Looking forward into 2008 and beyond,I am confident 2007 will beremembered as the year AMD showe
