3、(WCCF)assembled in London for the first time,with a common belief in the power of culture to transform lives and places.Our founding principle was that as global cities we can achieve much more by working together than by competing.By being generous with our ideas,jointly building the evidence and l
4、earning from one another,we can drive greener,fairer and more prosperous cities.Our vision is to build a world where culture is at the heart of thriving cities.Ten years on,we are the leading global network of creative cities and civic leaders.We have made culture a golden thread,benefiting all aspe
5、cts of city life.In that time there has been a shift.Culture has moved from the niche to the mainstream.As civic leaders we are building innovative collaborations with our colleagues across all government departments.And the results are clear.Culture is now supporting communities,improving health an
