3、n drawn from the EPOs databases of worldwide patent data was analysed.Patent information constitutes a very rich source of technical information on inventions for which patent protection was sought based on the commercial expectations of the applicants.Patent information often includes technical and

4、 other information that is not available from any other source.This report may be helpful as a source of information on quantum simulation.The methodology on which this report is based can be used freely,i.e.everyone can adapt the chosen search and analysis approach to their needs,for example to fol

5、low trends and developments in other established or emerging technical fields.While the number of inventions in the field of 2G quantum simulation is still rather low,it has increased dynamically over the last decade at a rate which is well above the increase generally observed across all fields of
