3、ories of pollutantemissions and data on the local atmospheric conditions,the ML approach greatly alleviatestheseconstraints while keeping comparable accuracy levels to those exhibited bystate-of-the-art dispersion models.By ingesting high temporal resolution massive datasetson pollutant concentratio
4、n,meteorological conditions and transportation intensity,thepresent ML methodology have demonstrated to be capable of elucidating the relationbetween the local pollutant concentration and the variables it depends upon.In this report,we present and discuss the results obtained for the tailored ML mod
5、el for the city ofLisbon.Each cruise ship with the typical characteristics of those docked in the port of Lisbon isfound to contribute with an increase of 1.4 and 0.5 of g/m3in nitrogen dioxide(NO2)in themost centric locations of Avenida da Liberdade and Entrecampos.As we move away fromthe city cent
6、er,these values range between 0.3 and 0.0 g/m3at the rest of the stations.Regarding particulate matter(PM10),each typical cruise vessel is estimated to contribute 0.3g/m3at Avenida da Liberdade station,0.2 g/m3at Laranjeiro station and 0.1 g/m3orsmaller at the rest of stations,as well as 0.2 g/m3in
