3、ard copy format is illegal.2 ICIS expects 2026 to be a broadly balanced year for the global LNG market,though seasonal demand peaks may create localized shortfalls.The pace of LNG uptake among developing countries will be of particular importance as spot prices continue to ease throughout the year.E

4、urope continues to be the premium LNG market,with imports expected to rise further as the phase-out of Russian gas progresses.LNG supply A new wave of LNG supply will continue in 2026,building on the momentum of the previous year,following a period of slow or stagnant growth from 2020 to 2024.We for

5、ecast total LNG supply to reach 472m tonnes in 2026,up 31m tonnes or 7%year-on-year(yoy).That is a slightly larger increase than the 29m tonnes in 2025.We expect an even bigger increase in 2027,when the market adds 37m tonnes.The big increase in 2025 came from Venture Globals Plaquemines plant in th

6、e US,which built up towards peak capacity of 27mtpa.Another US plant,Golden Pass,will help to drive the increases in 2026,with the potential start-up of the first two of its planned three 6mtpa trains.Other contributions to 2026 supply growth include Enis 2.4mtpa Nguya FLNG plant offshore Congo,the
