5、y replaces the three population health surveys(i.e.,National Health Survey(NHS),National Health Surveillance Survey(NHSS)and Health Behaviour Surveillance of Singapore(HBSS)previously conducted by the Ministry of Health and Health Promotion Board respectively.The NPHS is conducted annually to provid

6、e timely and regular information on the prevalence of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes mellitus,hypertension,hyperlipidaemia and related risk factors like smoking,alcohol consumption and physical inactivity from a representative sample of the resident population.The NPHS also captures info
