3、ndemic with less events held or reported.In parallel,the inclusion of hybrid and digital events was made possible for the first time and some countries provided data for a total of 60 such events.(*)Only events that could show a minimum set of data were taken into considerationAt all these events,or

4、ganized by 363 organisers,157 351 exhibitors and 18,3 million visitors were registered.32%of the exhibitions were addressed to trade visitors,32%to public visitors and 36%to both target groups.For physical and hybrid events,6.7 million square metres of rented space were registered-UFI estimates that

5、 those certified events present in this report represents,in 2021,around 31%of the European exhibition market in terms of net space rented and the breakdown of those events by industry sector(provided by each partner)is presented in the table on the right.As 3%of all events had more than one industr
