5、nd 12.8%in constant currency.Organic net sales increased 10.1%in the quarter including 9.4%from increased unit volume and 0.7%from higher prices.MedSurg and Neurotechnology net sales of$3.5 billion increased 13.4%in the quarter and 14.2%in constant currency.Organic net sales increased 10.7%in the qu
6、arter including 9.5%from increased unit volume and 1.2%from higher prices.Orthopaedics net sales of$2.4 billion increased 9.7%in the quarter and 10.7%in constant currency.Organic net sales increased 9.3%in the quarter including 9.3%from increased unit volume.Earnings Analysis Reported net earnings o
7、f$654 million decreased 17.0%in the quarter.Reported net earnings per diluted share of$1.69 decreased 17.6%in the quarter.Reported gross profit margin and reported operating income margin were 63.8%and 14.3%in the quarter.Reported net earnings include certain items,such as charges for acquisition an
8、d integration-related activities,the amortization of purchased intangible assets,structural optimization and other special charges,goodwill and other impairments,costs to comply with certain medical device regulations,recall-related matters,regulatory and legal matters and tax matters.Excluding the
9、aforementioned items,adjusted gross profit margin(1)was 65.5%in the quarter,and adjusted operating income margin(1)was 22.9%in the quarter.Adjusted net earnings(1)of$1.1 billion increased 14.0%in the quarter.Adjusted net earnings per diluted share(1)of$2.84 increased 13.6%in the quarter.2025 Outlook
10、 Considering our first quarter results,strong demand for our capital products and our commercial momentum in the end markets in which we operate,we are raising our full year 2025 organic net sales growth(2)guidance range to 8.5%to 9.5%.Our updated sales guidance reflects a modestly favorable pricing
11、 impact and a slightly unfavorable foreign exchange impact should foreign exchange rates hold near current levels.2 We expect our adjusted net earnings per diluted share(2)to be the range of$13.20 to$13.45.Our previous guidance on adjusted net earnings per diluted share(2)was$13.45 to$13.70,excludin
