4、mentally friendly technologies that significantly reducecarbon dioxide(CO2)emissions by hundreds of thousands of tons annually.Our promotion and use of EF Technology resulted in a reduction of over 400,000 tonsof potential CO2 emissions,an 18%reduction in emissions over 2006.A premier example of EF

5、Technology in use is the construction of the award-winning California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.Featuring an aquarium,a planetarium and over 20 million scientifi c specimens,the building covers over 410,000 square feet of exhibition,educational and offi ce space.The strategy was to create

6、 a new building that would not only house powerful exhibitions,but also serve as a tangible example of environmentally superior construction.Because of the Academys unique design,several critical applications of concrete were needed to achieve the desired effect.The concrete was required to be envir
