OCP Composable Memory Systems (CMS) 子项目于2022年10月启动,旨在标准化并推动下一代数据中心基础设施中的分层和混合内存技术、 fabrics、系统和解决方案。该工作始于2021年2月的Future Technologies Initiative - Software Defined Memory (SDM),研究此类内存系统的使用案例、互联偏好和系统特性。目前,CMS子项目已有5个工作流形成,250多人参与,50多人每周参加电话会议,已提交1份规范、4份白皮书和50多份演讲。计划今年为AI/HPC和企业使用案例以及硬件/软件共同设计提供解决方案,如工作负载、数据中心 fabric 管理、AI/HPC fabric、计算编程和研究。
