3、olders to identify,analyze,prioritize,and manage the most significant risks to the countrys critical infrastructure sectors and national critical functions.In September 2023,CISAs National Risk Management Center engaged the Homeland Security Operational Analysis Center(HSOAC)to help inform CISAs eff

4、orts in identifying,understanding,and assessing emerging risks through several related tasks as part of the National Critical Function Emerging Issue Risk Analysis project.Emerging risks may include developments in technology,novel and emerging hazards and threats,infrastructure vulnerabilities,and

5、changing market conditions,as well as the intersection of different emerging risks.This report presents a summary of the publicly available literature on the effects produced by high-altitude nuclear explosions in the space and near-space environments on satellites.The purpose is to aid the understa
