3、ated copper introduced excess insertion loss whereas rolled copper did not.However,that data does not fully close the question because when rolled copper is processed into a printed circuit board there is an increase in insertion loss,caused by some combination of increasing the conductors surface r

4、oughness and exposing the conductor to chemical processes.This paper offers a definitive evaluation of the conductor roughness hypothesis by measuring the loss of striplines that have not been exposed to any form of chemical process in any step of their fabrication.The experimental baseline uses unm
