2、e-emphasis,are indispensable for high-frequency loss compensation.However,such schematics requires complicated control circuits with high costs of chip area and power consumption,which are unacceptable in process constrained scenarios of parallel DRAM interfaces,like HBM and LPDDR.Hence,boosting cap

3、acitors are introduced into such interfaces,which only requires one additional auxiliary driver aside the main.However,the nonlinearity of current will be amplified dramatically in general behavior models because auxiliary drivers are equipped with AC coupling capacitors whose both in/output ends ar

4、e connected to signals.For instance,the current curve extracted using IBIS is much lower than expectation.On the contrary,the more precise circuit-level model,like spice model,requires tremendous simulation time as it calculates every single point in the netlist.In this paper,a Plugged-in Behavior(P

5、iB)IBIS model is proposed to achieve the trade-off between accuracy and time consuming.Furthermore,a pre-design method is proposed to simplify the transfer function,which only requires two poles and one zero to precisely describe the mentioned structure.Empirical evaluations show that the proposed m
