3、den and Swedish busi-nesses remain at the forefront and take a leading role in artificial intelligence.Sweden has a long and proud history of adopting tech-nological advancements and ensuring that they bene-fit our entire country from telephone exchanges at the end of the 19th century to the success

4、ful IT com-panies that emerged in the 2000s.This does not only apply to Swedish inventions.The key to our success has been the way in which we have quickly learned to apply new technologies to our advantage.Add to that Swedens strong entrepreneurial spirit and high-quality education system from whic

5、h everyone can benefit.That being said,good historical results do not guaran-tee success in the future.During this electoral period,the Government has made Swedens largest-ever in-vestment in research,with a focus on excellence and initiatives specifically targeting mathematics and engi-neering.With

6、in the EU,we actively work to ensure that legisla-tion does not hinder,but rather facilitates and enables technological development.We push for simpler regu-latory frameworks without overlapping requirements,to test new ideas and make sure that new AI legislation is not introduced until the right st
