本文是Heidrick & Struggles公司关于阿联酋董事会构成的研究报告。2021年，阿联酋 filled 52 seats on boards, with 79% of these going to active executives, higher than the 51% in Europe or the 57% in the United States. In the UAE, many board members have ministerial roles. Forty-four percent of seats were filled by people with experience as a CEO or CFO, which is the same as in Europe and slightly lower than in the United States. Most seats were filled by men and 25% of seats were filled by people from other countries. The report also found that boards across the Middle East are under increasing scrutiny and taking on greater levels of risk, leading to a focus on improving board effectiveness. Boards are expected to intensify their focus on their role in supporting their organization’s purpose and resilience, including continued commitment to having the right people on the board.
