10、United States,China,and South Korea demonstrated strong competitiveness,with Apple maintaining its dominant market position.Additionally,several international and Southeast Asian local brands such as the French tech brand Wiko,Googles Pixel smartphones,and the Indonesian brand Polytron have also ach
11、ieved good sales performance on Shopee and Lazada.In the computer&accessories sector,Chinese,American,and Japanese brands are the most favored by Southeast Asian consumers.Japanese printer brands like Canon and Epson are particularly popular in Indonesia,Thailand,and the Philippines.American laptop/
12、computer brands such as Apple and HP performed well in Indonesia,Malaysia,Singapore,and Thailand.Hardware brands like SanDisk and Kingston have also gained significant popularity in the Philippines.In the smart devices category,alongside market leaders such as Apple and Garmin,brands like Fitbit and
13、 Oculus were also sold well in Southeast Asia.We used almost 1.2 million SKUs of electronics&accessories that had at least one sale during June 2024.We collected this data from Southeast Asias two leading eCommerce platforms:Shopee and Lazada.While we understand that there may be some margin of erro
14、r in the absolute numbers,we have employed a consistent methodology throughout the research.Merchant-driven marketplaces can be particularly challenging for data integration due to various SKU naming conventions across six languages.However,as our approach was consistent throughout all parts of the
