1、AMAZON.COM ANNOUNCES FIRST QUARTER RESULTSSEATTLE(BUSINESS WIRE)May 1,2025A,Inc.(NASDAQ:AMZN)today announced financial results for its first quarter ended March 31,2025.Net sales increased 9%to$155.7 billion in the first quarter,compared with$143.3 billion in first quarter 2024.Excluding the$1.4 bil
2、lion unfavorable impact from year-over-year changes in foreign exchange rates throughout thequarter,net sales increased 10%compared with first quarter 2024.North America segment sales increased 8%year-over-year to$92.9 billion.International segment sales increased 5%year-over-year to$33.5 billion,or
3、 increased 8%excluding changesin foreign exchange rates.AWS segment sales increased 17%year-over-year to$29.3 billion.Operating income increased to$18.4 billion in the first quarter,compared with$15.3 billion in first quarter 2024.North America segment operating income was$5.8 billion,compared with$
4、5.0 billion in first quarter 2024.International segment operating income was$1.0 billion,compared with$0.9 billion in first quarter 2024.AWS segment operating income was$11.5 billion,compared with$9.4 billion in first quarter 2024.Net income increased to$17.1 billion in the first quarter,or$1.59 per
